I’m a tenure-track assistant professor of Marketing at the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin (UCD).
My research primarily focuses on consumer behavior in online environments. Rooted in digital marketing, I explore how consumers process information and make decisions online, emphasizing two interconnected lines of inquiry: consumer trust and consumer autonomy. These themes have broad implications for marketing strategies in digital domains, informing corporate practices and consumer policy.
Prior to my current position, I worked as a postdoctoral and predoctoral fellow at the Center for Adaptive Rationality, Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin. I also earned a PhD in Psychology (Humboldt University of Berlin), a Master of Behavioral and Decision Sciences (University of Pennsylvania), an MSc in Marketing (Trinity College Dublin), and a BA in Business Administration (Provadis School of International Management and Technology).
My research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Current Opinion in Psychology, Judgment and Decision Making, and Nature Human Behaviour.
